FBI Supervisory Special Agent (SSA) James Lamadrid entered on duty at the FBI in March 2007 where he was assigned to the FBI Salt Lake City Cyber Squad. SSA Lamadrid investigated Criminal and National Security Computer Intrusions and was a member of the Utah Attorney General Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. SSA Lamadrid was a FBI SWAT Operator from 2010 to 2014 prior to his promotion to FBI Headquarters where he performed duties as a Regional Program Manager for various Cyber Task Forces in the areas of budget, operational, and investigative support. In November 2014, SSA Lamadrid was promoted to the FBI Salt Lake City Cyber Task Force Supervisor. Prior to working for the FBI, SSA Lamadrid worked as an Information Technology Project Manager for the Air Force Pentagon Communication Agency located at the Pentagon, in Washington, D.C. and served for 8 years in the United States Air Force, Security Forces. SSA Lamadrid has a B.S. in Information Systems Management, Master of Management degree, and an Executive Leadership Certificate from Cornell University. SSA Lamadrid also holds several industry certifications such as the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Global Information Security Professional (GISP), Cyber Security Leadership Certificate (GSLP), and Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) Certification.
